Cathy is Counsel in Hunton & Williams’ Complex Commercial Litigation eDiscovery and Cyber Investigations practice. Cathy’s practice focuses on advising corporate clients on electronic discovery, records and information management and compliance and litigation preparedness in complex litigation, internal investigations and class actions, and in responding to cyber security incidents.  She previously was Senior Counsel, Director of Electronic Discovery and Records Compliance at Sprint Nextel Corporation.  Cathy serves as labor and employment e-discovery counsel to a Fortune 50 company and as coordinating discovery counsel in large-scale internal investigations of major financial institutions, as well as in related civil litigation and government subpoenas.  She routinely develops discovery protocols and response plans for civil litigation, class actions and Second Requests and provides counsel relating to issues such as the disposition of data, discovery from third part data hosts, decommissioning of systems, and intracompany social networking sites.
