Panel Description:

The rapidly evolving nature of healthcare technology creates novel and complex legal issues. The dialogue leaders will address some of these issues, including how uses of health data, including non-HIPAA health data, have expanded over time and how developments in the use of connected devices, digital health, and telemedicine (as examples) have created legal uncertainty and regulatory interest. As part of the discussion, the dialogue leaders will address the multitude of regulatory agencies that are active in the healthcare technology space and identify areas of regulatory interest going forward.
