In her role as Chief Data Privacy Counsel at Colgate-Palmolive Company, Emily is responsible for the establishment and maintenance of a comprehensive global data privacy compliance program. She also oversees Colgate’s cyber security efforts in coordination with Colgate’s IT risk management team. Emily provides legal support for Colgate’s digital initiatives including its connected devices, digital marketing, and social media activities, in connection with the negotiation of information technology and digital transactions. Prior to her time at Colgate, Emily was an eDiscovery, Privacy, and Litigation associate at law firms in New York City; Geneva, Switzerland; and Tampa, Florida where she worked on issues ranging from discovery management processes, records and information governance, data privacy and security, artificial intelligence, and products liability litigation. She graduated from Emory University School of Law with a JD and from Emory University with a bachelor’s degree.
