Edward Jacobs
Ted is a partner at BakerHostetler, where he serves as national lead counsel for the firm’s E-Discovery, Advocacy & Management team (EDAM). In addition to representing clients in connection with complex commercial and financial litigation, Ted is responsible for the strategic management of discovery across all of the legal actions initiated by Irving H. Picard, the court-appointed Securities Investor Protection Act Trustee, in connection with the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC. He also oversees EDAM’s role providing e-discovery expertise to BakerHostetler’s Chambers-ranked Privacy and Data Protection team, and handles data management, preservation, and productions across cybersecurity incidents, regulatory inquiries, and litigation. A graduate of Colgate University, Harvard Divinity School and Georgetown University Law Center, Ted has taken on significant pro bono representations in furtherance of LGBT equality. He serves on the board of Urban Word NYC. |
