Dino is a partner with international law firm Clyde & Co based in the United Arab Emirates. Dino leads the firm’s technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) practice in the Middle East and co-heads the global practice. After starting his career with a regional law firm in the UK before joining Norton Rose Fulbright in London, Dino now has more than fifteen years of experience in advising clients throughout the Middle East and North Africa region on transactional and advisory TMT matters. Dino has supported organizations in the public and private sectors on technology-related legal issues including IT contracting, data privacy compliance, cyber risk management and the regulation of emerging technologies. He has also worked with regional governments and regulators throughout the Middle East on legislative development in this area, including drafting an Electronic Transactions Law and Data Protection Law for Dubai International Financial Centre, consulting on data protection laws in other Gulf countries, advising the government of Saudi Arabia on implementing regulations for a media law, and supporting the government of Qatar on a benchmarking of its e-commerce laws against OECD principles. Dino has been consistently ranked in the top tier of TMT specialists in the UAE by independent legal directories and is named in The Legal 500’s Hall of Fame for his work in this space.
